The first meeting of the Partnership included representation from a number of local organisations. Corporate Affairs Manager Nick Gellatly advised those present that Tesco has assumed responsibility for the maintenance of Linwood shopping centre and called for people to come forward with ideas of what they would like to see incorporated into future plans.
This meeting was primarily to relay the outcomes of the consultation exercise and to discuss a way forward. 6 key areas of community interest were identified through the public consultation and it was decided that this would form the basis for focus groups to address each issue.
